The purpose of the Township Assessor is to maintain accurate property assessment records and determine property values used for taxation within Helena Township. The Assessor ensures assessments are fair, equitable, and in compliance with Michigan law.

Please direct all property assessment-related questions to the Assessor, including:

• Questions regarding Assessed Value (AV), Taxable Value (TV), or property value changes
• Scheduling an in-person meeting
• Inspection of, or requests for, assessment records
• Pre-March Board of Review informal hearings
