Supervisor / Sexton
Butch Peeples
Serves as Township Supervisor and presides over Township Board meetings,
providing administrative leadership and coordinating with county and state
partners on infrastructure, emergency services, and long-term planning.
In addition to his official duties, Butch donates his time and equipment —
including use of his tractor — to assist with snow removal and seasonal
maintenance. He also oversees cemetery operations and burial arrangements
as the Township Sexton.

Township Clerk
Oryana Leffew
Serves as Helena Township’s official record keeper and Chief Election Officer.
The Clerk administers elections, safeguards township records, and ensures proper
public notice and documentation. Responsibilities include oversight of accounts
payable, payroll, and human resources administration, financial reporting support,
records archiving, facility rentals, and management of the township website and
community calendar.

Shayla Savage
Supports election administration and assists in maintaining township records.

Catherine Rice
Manages township funds and oversees property tax collection and financial
recordkeeping to ensure accurate handling of public funds.
